Time to chill
Everyone needs some time to relax. Like many, I try to spend time as much time with my family as possible. I enjoy doing many things but, by far, my biggest passion is exploring the beautiful planet Earth, above and below water. I am obsessed with…
Yes, you may have guessed it from the home page. I am a scuba diving fanatic. I caught the underwater bug many years ago during my honeymoon and my passion has only grown stronger over time.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to visit and dive at some truly beautiful places on Earth. And I will never forget the first time I went underwater. The incredible beauty, the weightless feeling, the complete silence, except for the native marine life sounds and my breathing. No phones, no voices, no distractions, just complete relaxation. If you have never tried it, you must. It’s incredible!
There is nothing like being at the helm of a sailing yacht, cruising in silence. Feeling the oceanic breeze on your face. Yes, I’m talking about real sailing, not the motor yachts the rich and famous brag about. It takes skill and work but it’s so much fun!
I started a few years ago and I love it! I might even try some racing one day when I advance my skills.
Apart from being fun, it also helps me to switch off and clear my mind. Maybe one day, while sailing, I might even get creative ideas to help me on my mission.
A trip down memory lane
Here are some highlights from 2 diving trips – to Manado, Indonesia and Malta. I’m not a photography pro, so please don’t judge.
